TOOTH ACHE:
- Rinse the mouth with warm water.
- In order to remove food residues that may have stuck between the teeth, use dental floss.
- If there is any swelling, apply cold compress from the outside. Do not apply hot compress under any condition, do not put any aspirin or alcohol on the aching tooth or gum.
- You can take a pain-killer other than Aspirin.
- Go to a dentist as soon as possible.
TOOTH TRAUMAS:
Reaching a dentist as soon as possible after the trauma has occurred, increases the success of the treatment. A treatment that will be applied instantly prevents the tooth from loosing its vitality, removes the discomfort that may occur and eases Bringing the tooth back to original form and function.
If the tooth has been broken as a result of the trauma, by finding the broken part and placing it in clean water, serum physiologic or milk and taking it to a dentist as soon as possible, it is possible to paste the broken part to the tooth and restore so that it is more aesthetic and natural.
A strong blow to the tooth may cause the total fall of the tooth.
If the tooth that has fallen is a continuous tooth,
after finding the tooth, you have to put in liquid such as milk or serum physiologic, or under the patient’s own tongue, without touching the root, and take it to a dentist as soon as possible. Teeth that have been subjected to such a trauma, if brought to the dentist under the appropriate conditions and as soon as possible, they can be successfully placed in their slots and ensured functioning. |
