Oral Surgery
In our clinic, all kinds of surgical interventions in the mouth, normal tooth extractions, buried tooth extractions, root tip resections, jaw bone corrections and cyst operations are performed.
Cases requiring tooth extraction:
- Teeth that are over infected and to which canal treatment cannot be applied,
- In cases where the canal treatment has not been successful.
- The over loss of bone in the tooth as a result of the worsening of the gum infection ( In teeth in this condition, there is excessive loosening, infection and pain in the teeth)
- Opening space for other teeth by “serial extractions” in order to perform Orthodontic treatment.
The cavity that occurs after tooth extraction;
should be eliminated as soon as possible by replacing the cavity with porcelain bridge, implant or other dentures.
If the cavity that occurs after tooth extraction is not eliminated;
the teeth next to the cavity and the tooth across the cavity shift and change place. The shifting of the teeth is unfavorable, both aesthetically nd functionally. The axes and positions of these teeth become deformed.
Problems occur on the jaw joint due to the deformation of the closing arrangement of the teeth. It may not be possible to make any bridges or other dentures in the future, over teeth whose axes have been deformed.
Therefore, in order not to suffer any difficulties in the future, the cavities should absolutely be filled after the extraction of the tooth. |
