Peridonthology

Healthy gum has a slightly ragged appearance, whose boundary with the teeth is a clear line and which is pink in colour. Healthy gum does not bleed while brushing or eating.

An infected gum is bright and swollen, due to edema, its boundary with the tooth is irregular and has a reddish appearance. There may be pain when pressed or continually. During brushing or eating, it bleeds and the infection is discharged.

The infection in the gum is one of the reasons of halitosis.
Even if the teeth are brushed regularly, tooth tartar cleaning should be performed, at intervals to be determined by your dentist, in order to remove the plaque and tartars on the teeth.
The minerals in the structure of your saliva, the food you eat may continually cause tartar.
